Previously I had read his monumental book length meditation on the life of Christ, The Lord. Jul 21, Cameron Murray rated it it was amazing. It was recommended to be from a friend, and I’ll say that it was indeed a great recommendation. In limpid, even poetic terms, it clarifies the underlying principles and existential implications of the belief that when Christians join in the Eucharist and other liturgical thhe, they do so not as discrete individuals but as interconnected members of the one People of God.
